inspiration, equipment, rules, etc.:
inspiration: ryan and i decided to start this blog because of my obsession with and his subsequent appreciation for the blog "
how we say hello". our project will be slightly different, however, as we live in the same house, rather than in separate countries. (though he has been gone more than 1/3 of our relationship, so in essence, we DO live apart... one third of the time.) i am not a photographer, but i have a good eye and i like taking pictures. ryan is not a photographer, either, but he is annoyingly good at everything he does, so it doesn't really matter. regardless - this should be, if nothing else, an interesting experiment. if nothing else it will show us if we really are as similar as doug thinks we are.
equipment & rules:
1. we are both using different versions of the panasonic lumix point and shoot digital camera.
2. neither of us have any professional photographic training, outside of basic photography classes - phoebe in college (which she cheated her way through with a point and shoot camera) and ryan in high school (which he flunked out of).
3. photoshop is allowed, but will be noted when used.
4. daily themes will be agreed upon in advance, will sometimes come from an online random word generator, and will be noted as the subject of the entry.
